Tie-outs are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Absolutely no tie-outs are permitted on trailers in rock area.
Violators will be asked to leave the fairgrounds.

Exhibitors must provide bedding for livestock.

Please refer to General Rules and Regulations for show eligibility rules. All cattle must be pre-entered.

No cattle or tack will be allowed in before 10:00 p.m. August 15th.

Beef cattle tie-out at 10:00 p.m. or at the discretion of the director.  Failure to abide by this ruling will result in forfeiture of premiums or removal from the fairgrounds.  If you have any questions concerning information or problems, see Jonathan Williams, Director, Beef Superintendent.

Beef cattle in place by 12:00 Noon and checked in by 2:00 p.m. August 16th.

Cattle will not be released until Saturday, August 18th at 10:00 p.m. or as specified by the Beef Superintendent.

All exhibitors must purchase exhibitors tickets.

Fees - All entries $5.00 per tie space. Exhibitors tickets - $7.00.

Supreme champion male and female of all breeds to be selected from all champions. All breed champions are expected to show for supreme male and female following conclusion of Angus show.

Special Rules

1.     Any registered breed requesting a show of their own must maintain 5 different breeders and 25 head of cattle for 3 consecutive years before consideration will be given to that specific breed to have their own show.

2.     To maintain a show, there must be 5 different breeders and 25 head of cattle each year of the Greene County Fair.

3.     If Rule #2 of the Special Rules is violated the first year, all due consideration will be given to the breed by the livestock committee.  If there is two years consecutive of violations, that breed will immediately be placed on probation.  The third consecutive year of violations, that particular breed will be placed back in the Other Breeds Class.
